Disposable nappies

Pros

  • Disposable nappies are easier and more convenient to use.

  • They are easier to dispose of.

  • They do not have to be folded before you put them on your baby.

  • They eliminate the risk of your baby getting pricked with a nappy pin.

  • They are easier to use when your are traveling with your baby.


Tips;
  • You might consider using a combination of cloth and disposable nappies, depending on your philosophy, needs, mood, travel schedule, and so on.

  • Check your baby’s nappy frequently to make sure it is not wet. The most common cause of nappy rash is urine I the genital area for long periods of time. The drier you keep your baby, the less chance he has of developing a nappy rash.


Cons
  • Disposable nappies are harder on the environment, since they are not recyclable.

  • They are more expensive than cloth nappies, unless you are using a nappy service.

  • They can lead to more rashes, since it is more difficult to tell if your baby is wet.

  • They are not as soft and comfortable as cloth nappies.
